With dedicated caregivers and specialized services, we help pediatrics with compromised systems thrive in their comfortable, loving home environment while encouraging a stable and supportive family life.

Our pediatric care division is tailored to the sensitive needs of pediatric patients and their families, including: full-week shift availability, pediatric specialists and therapists, and comprehensive insurance coverage.

Pediatric Nursing Care

Our compassionate and highly-trained RNs and LPNs are licensed to provide a full range of clinical care and medical assistance specialized for the unique needs of pediatric care, including:

  • Wound Care
  • Tracheostomy and Ventilator Management
  • PICC line and Peripheral Line Management
  • Chemotherapy and Port Management
  • IVIG Therapy
  • Antibiotic Therapy
  • G-Tube Management
  • TPN services

Altimate Care nursing staff is also qualified to offer specialized services such as Synagis Injections, NG Feeds, and Trach/Vent Care for pediatric patients.

Pediatric Nursing Care
IEPs & School Services

Altimate RNs and LPNs are available to provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting through IEP school services, in addition to at-home waivered care. IEP services begin at the child’s home before school, after which the Altimate nurse accompanies them on the bus or school transportation, escorts them throughout the school day, and returns to the home environment to continue waivered care.

Pediatric Home Aides & Care

Altimate offers aide services for compassionate, dedicated support at home. Our Home Aides provide daily assistance and household relief from the stresses and challenges of special needs care. Home aides are available for eligible pediatric waiver cases.
